How to explain a belt like 'Orson'? Well suffice to say this is a design that has been brought to life without creative restraint (hence our reference to Orson Welles, possibly the most maverick and innovative of all Hollywood moviemakers) and as part of our ongoing desire to make people look at belts in a whole new light! It is true that we love mixing colours and textures - partly because they are eye-catching but partly because they can also be incredibly versatile too. This new design clearly has a 'Sporty' feel to it with its white background but it is the contrast pale grey central panel that dominates whilst the eye is drawn to the vibrant orange contrast colour fabric piping that runs along the inside of the belt. To make a belt like this is not easy- layering the 3 different parts, preparing the performance fabric piping by hand, edge stitching first the edges and then the piping each in different colours and then of course the final flourish, painting the edges optic white. In keeping with the sport feel of this belt paired the belt up with a lovely satin silver finish roller detail buckle - it keep the sporty feel of the belt, has a nice weight to it and the etched roller detail matches nicely with the mottled texture of the leather.
